Our Lake Taupo backpackers lodge has all the modern accommodation facilities a backpacker requires to make the most out of their stay.

TV Room/Lounge
Our TV room is open 24hrs for guests. Free DVD hire and board games are also available. Our main lounge is perfect for reading and relaxing in front of the warm cosy fire.

Kitchen and BBQ Area
A spacious, fully equipped self-catering kitchen is available to guests. It is well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and other bits and pieces and we provide complimentary tea and coffee. There is an indoor dining area as well as seating and a BBQ area on the outside deck.

Kitchen and lounge areas are open between the hours of 6.00am – 10.30pm. Upon request, will open earlier – please let us know the evening prior.

Spa Pool
No charge. Open between 8.00am – 10.30pm.

Phone, Fax and Printing Services
There is a payphone available on site. Phone cards can be purchased from Reception during office hours. Please see Reception for fax or printing requirements.

Laundry
Coin operated – $2 per load for washing machine and dryer. Open 8.00am – 10.30pm. There is an outdoor clothesline for guests to use and an iron/ironing board is also available.

Booking Desk
See our Reception staff for free travel advice and assistance with bookings for all local tourist attractions. We can recommend the must-do things to experience in Taupo. No booking fees.

Storage of Valuables/Luggage
A secure lock-up room is available for guests to store luggage/bikes at no extra charge. Valuables can be left safe and secure at Reception while you venture out and explore around Taupo.

Internet and Wireless Access
Internet – coin operated ($1 or $2 coins). Time can also be purchased from Reception during office hours.
Wireless access – available via credit card payment online.
